NYC's free Financial Empowerment Centers can help you take control. Free, confidential, one-on-one financial counseling is provided by professional counselors in person or by phone in English and Spanish. Counselors provide direct assistance to individuals in crisis, help families stabilize their finances and plan for the future, and provide strategic referrals to other public and private resources.
