Approximately three months before your license expires, DCA will mail you a license renewal application. You must renew your license before it expires in order to continue operating your business. Operation without a current license is subject to penalties.

If your license is due for renewal, below are the different ways you can submit your license renewal application.

To make the license renewal process easier, DCA offers an Online License Renewal Service* currently available to the following categories:

 Scale Dealer/Repairer
 Sightseeing Guide
 Stoop Line Stand

In some industries, licensees can renew their license by mail. Please read your license renewal package for information specific to your industry. In other cases, licensees should visit the DCA Licensing Center at 42 Broadway, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10004. For more information, call 311 (or 212-NEW-YORK outside NYC) and ask to be transferred to DCA with a question about your existing license.
